A.J. is an Assurance Partner in our Philadelphia office. He has primarily served large, multinational consumer and industrial products companies, including Campbell Soup, Rohm and Haas, E. I. du Pont de Nemours, Foamex International, and Carpenter Technology. He also completed a three-year international assignment in the Firm's Paris, France office, where his main clients were Crown Holdings, Exide Technologies, and Honeywell International. A.J. has worked with his clients on a number of complex issues, including debt and equity offerings, acquisitions and divestitures, complex tax structures, restructuring initiatives and various other matters. He has significant experience with Securities and Exchange Commission reporting, implementation and annual compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, and implementation of new accounting standards. In addition to his client responsibilities, A.J. has been involved with several Firm initiatives. He served as one of the Firm's Global Client Service Advisors to our chemicals industry engagement teams. He developed thought leadership publications, learning and education and other knowledge management initiatives, and assisted with development of various external conferences. He also worked with the Firm's audit methodology group and was responsible for developing various communications focused on assisting practice personnel in improving audit quality and acted as regional point person for audit policy and methodology questions. He currently serves as the Human Resource partner for the Industrial Products market team in Philadelphia and is primarily responsible for market/client and resource-related decisions to ensure the objectives of unique people and client experiences are met for the team. A.J.'s current clients include Campbell Soup Company, Rohm and Haas Company, Saint-Gobain Corporation, Mars, Incorporated and Tasty Baking Company. A.J. holds a B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A.J. and his wife, Renee, have two children, Nicholas (3) and Alexandra (1), and live in Garnet Valley, PA.
