Guy’s career with Air Liquide spans 25 years.  Beginning in the western United States as a sales representative, it progressed rapidly through roles in acquisitions, product and regional management.  

In 2000, Guy was appointed vice-president, process industries, and in 2001, vice-president, medical gases.  As Air Liquide’s medical gas business grew, Guy became its chief operating officer in 2005. 

In late 2007, He was appointed President of Air Liquide’s newly formed  US Specialty gases business.

Guy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology and physics from the University of Oregon.  He has attended Air Liquide’s management training programs at INSEAD, France, and the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
