Judith L. Ujobai was named Executive Director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) in 1994. She is responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization, including event planning, fundraising, membership development, business consulting, career counseling, marketing, and communications. Ms. Ujobai became an active FACC Founding Corporate Member, representing Fidelity Bank, in 1989 when the newly established Philadelphia Chapter received a mandate from the National FACC Board in New York to enlist a minimum of 80 member companies in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware tri-state region. From 1985-1994, Ms. Ujobai enjoyed a rewarding career in international banking with Fidelity and First Fidelity Banks. As a European Correspondent Banking Officer from 1989-1994, she was responsible for a multi-million dollar portfolio of trade, credit and treasury facilities for over 50 major European banks and their New York affiliates. Prior to that role, she served as a Trade Finance Specialist and an International Credit Analyst. She is a 1987 graduate of Fidelity Bank's Professional Bankers Development Program. Ms. Ujobai worked with Frupac International, a leading importer/exporter of Chilean produce, which was headquartered in Philadelphia and quadrupled in size during a dynamic period of growth from 1983-1985. Ms. Ujobai graduated from Dickinson College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French, and she was awarded the Senior Prize for French Literature. During her Junior year, she studied in Nantes, France, and spent the summer working in La Baule, France. In 1984, Ms. Ujobai studied at the University of Toulon in La Garde, France, where she received the Certificate in Commercial and Economic French from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. Born and raised in Phoenixville, PA, Ms. Ujobai has been an enthusiastic Center City Philadelphia resident for almost 30 years.
