Nicolas Pesty has been the General Manager of the Hotel Sofitel in Philadelphia since August 2003. Prior to that position, he was the Director of Operations. After graduating from the Hotel Management School from Paris in 1987, he joined the Accor Group in Paris working as an Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Musee d'Orsay. Then, Mr. Pesty came to the United States to work in different capacities for the Novotel and Sofitel Hotels in Texas, California, New York and New Jersey. In 1999, he studied management courses at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He then joined the Philadelphia Sofitel to take over the operations of the newly opened property. Mr. Pesty joined FACC's Board of Directors in September 2003.
