Prior to his current position, René was responsible for the Scientific Information Systems Infrastructure & Services at all sanofi-aventis US R&D sites, as well as head of Scientific Information Solutions at the Great Valley site. Previously, René held a position in Corporate IS, where he managed the development of purchasing solutions. He has also held various managerial positions within the US and French Commercial subsidiaries.

Before joining sanofi-aventis’ legacy organization in 1996, René was an IT Project Leader at ATSM Finances and was a Developer Analyst at the French Department of Defense.

René earned a Civil Engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM).
