Past Event: 10/25/2021

The French-American Chamber of Commerce was delighted to partner with the Mid-Atlantic-Eurasia Business Council, the International Chambers of Commerce and Associations of Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, among others. This event celebrated a number of exciting soccer achievements. First, the Philadelphia Union's victory with the best overall record in Major League Soccer (MLS) and their Supporters' Shield Trophy in 2020.  Additionally, the City of Philadelphia's recent presentation to FIFA and U.S. Soccer, in collaboration with a number of regional partners, to make a bid for Philadelphia to become a 2026 FIFA World Cup Host.  Two panels featured Philadelphia Union executives and the Philadelphia Soccer 2026 Committee.  There will a follow-up hybrid/in-person event in Winter 2022, date and time to be announced.
