The French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) is delighted to partner with the British-American Business Council (BABC) on The Economics of the World Cup event.
In celebration of the fast-approaching 2026 World Cup matches coming to Philadelphia, leaders from sports tourism, and the international business community will convene to explore the global economics behind the world’s largest sporting event.
Bringing together representatives from U.S. Soccer and the sports industry, this panel and networking program will examine how the World Cup drives investment, tourism, infrastructure development, and long-term regional growth. The event will also offer a high-level networking opportunity, connecting attendees with senior leaders and decision-makers from across the sector and region.
Panelists will draw on insights from past tournaments and look ahead to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As global attention turns to North America, the conversation will explore opportunities to strengthen commercial ties, elevate Philadelphia’s international profile, and consider how events of this scale create lasting economic partnerships.
Limited seating is available, and pre-registration is required. Refreshments are included.
