About the FACC Philadelphia
The French-American Chamber of Commerce Philadelphia (FACC Philadelphia) is an independent, apolitical, member-supported, nonprofit business association representing 300+ globally-minded American and international Francophiles and French business leaders living and working in the Greater Philadelphia area and beyond. Our mission is to foster French-American business development across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and with France.
As one of the largest chapters in the national FACC network, as well as one of the largest binational business associations in the region, we provide a dynamic platform for business growth and cross-cultural collaboration in our region.
Internship Overview
FACC Philadelphia is seeking dedicated volunteer interns to support our member-driven organization in the role of Marketing Coordinators. This hybrid internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and recent college graduates seeking hands-on professional experience and skill development. You do not need to speak French for this position because all of our activities are in English to reach the broadest audience, but an interest in French and French business is a plus.

Time Commitment:

Minimum of 5 to 10 hours per week for full-time students

Minimum of 20 hours per week for part-time students and graduates

Duration: Minimum of 5 months

Schedule Flexibility: Hours are flexible and can accommodate part-time employment

Events: Most events take place Wednesday or Thursday evenings (6:00–8:00 PM)

Responsibilities
Interns will train for approximately one month with more experienced senior interns and the Executive Director. Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail are essential, as assignments are expected to require minimal or no revisions.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing website content and posting events on Wix

Creating weekly event promotions and the monthly e-newsletter (L’EDITION) via Mailchimp
-
Supporting social media initiatives
-
Assisting with virtual and in-person events
-
Training in QuickBooks Online bookkeeping
-
Taking meeting minutes
-
Engaging with FACC leadership, members, partners, and external stakeholders, including business and government representatives
Requirements

Personal laptop and cell phone in excellent working order with adequate storage for photos to be taken at events

Professional business attire for meetings and events
-
Excellent proofreading and communication skills
A strong desire to help and assist the Executive Director, the FACC Members, potential members, non-member contacts, and your fellow interns.
Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Familiarity with Google Email and Google Drive preferred

Experience editing images and PDFs (Preview for Mac, Pages for Windows, Canva)
