Marine Fraval-Vennel, the Honorary Consul of France in Philadelphia & Wilmington, joined the Greater Philadelphia's French and Francophile nonprofit member-supported associations for a French History Night at the Museum of the American Revolution! There were plenty of snacks and drinks for the 220 participants that attended, making it a SOLD OUT event! The attendees consisted of French, Francophile American, and international FACC, Alliance Française, Philadelphie Accueil, and World Affairs Council Members accompanied by their guests. Marine presented a beautiful introduction highlighting future events, followed by a captivating speech on France's involvement in North America by James Taub. His animated storytelling kept everyone invested and managed to get the whole crowd laughing on multiple occasions. The Museum of the American Revolution also holds George Washington's war tent he slept in during the Civil War. They have a great exhibition that can be seen at any time during the year.
