We might all be tired of virtual meetings and crave a return to a normal office setting,

but before we take that leap, it is important to look!

This meeting should NOT be missed.

Learn how to protect your staff and clients by understanding

safe ways to reopen indoor working spaces.

As many of us are getting ready to return to office buildings and plan meetings in enclosed spaces, we assembled an expert panel to help you navigate this new indoor environment.

The goal is to provide maximum health benefits while minimizing risks.  The topic is designed for company executives, human resources departments, managers and health conscious employees.

Virginie Scaglia will discuss the new international Health and Safety Rating that is available in France, US, and other countries.

Joyce Lee will talk about her work with medical and engineering experts on safer indoor air environments.

This event will be moderated by FACC President Jonathan Grode.

After registering, you will be entered for a chance to win two complimentary tickets to the Queens Botanical Gardens in Flushing, New York!

Joyce Lee, FAIA, LEED Fellow, WELL AP, is President of IndigoJLD, providing green health, design, benchmarking and planning services for exemplary projects and communities. She became one of 350 LEED Fellows worldwide. Joyce is also on adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania focusing on building healthy places and serves on the board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia.

She has been a Fellow at the National Leadership Academy for Public Health and one of the first LEED accredited professionals in New York City. Joyce served under Mayors Giuliani and Bloomberg. She was the Chief Architect at the New York City Office of Management and Budget (OMB), overseeing the survey of major city-owned buildings (over 200 million sqft) and waterfronts with the goals of enhancing long-term planning and identifying green opportunities. During her tenure, the program grew over 25%. After OMB, one of her programs enjoyed the support of two Great Lakes governors in Michigan and Illinois. She was the co-author of the Active Design Guidelines and has since published widely.

Most recently, her team worked with medical doctors during the pandemic and she serves on the COVID 19 task force of the International Well Building Institute.

With more than 15 years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate sector, and more specifically in the Sustainable Development sector, Virginie Scaglia acquired solid knowledge on the design of "green" buildings and the implementation of strategies to contribute positively to people's health and well-being.

In 2017, she participated in the certification of the very first WELL building in France, SCENEO, managed by HRO, an international property developer that was her former employer.

In 2020, she created her own firm, NEOS CONSEIL, based in Paris, France, to assist clients in creating healthy living spaces through a holistic approach to sustainability.

Her recent work consists of advising clients on post-Covid-19 re-entry, in particular through the implementation of the Health and Safety rating, initiated by the International WELL Building Institute.

Virginie has been a WELL AP and Faculty member since 2018.
