As a Global Market Director, Gabriel is in charge of Air Liquide’s performance and growth in the carbon dioxide and beverage markets. He is working in close relation with strategic customers and the innovation eco-system (field experts, R&D, start-ups, cleantech) to develop and deploy new offers and products for these markets.

Gabriel has 14 years of international experience in the Industrial Gases industry. He joined Air Liquide group in 2004, in R&D, in France, where he developed and managed joint development research programs with glass manufacturer customers from Europe and Japan. He was then in charge of the development and deployment in the Air Liquide organization of an effective cost-competitive Standard Plant Program. From there Gabriel spent 7 years in commercial, business development and global marketing positions. His customers include: Asahi Glass Co. (Japan), Arcelor Mittal (Poland), Severstal (Russia), Metinvest (Ukraine), Saint-Gobain (France), Ambatovy (Madagascar), Sherritt (Canada), Coca- Cola (USA), Starbucks (USA).

 

Gabriel holds a Master Degree in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau (France) and from Ecole Nationale Superieure De Telecommunication of Paris.

 

Gabriel was born in Romania and holds dual Romanian and French citizenship.
