The life of Julie d’Aubigny or Julie, Monster (1670-1707) is not to be missed! As a queer opera diva, sword fighter, and a feminist icon from 17th-century France, Julie d’Aubigny was no doubt a renaissance woman.
From a childhood living at the Palace of Versailles to becoming a pioneer in French opera, Julie D’Aubigny lived a roller-coaster life.
The production, in ENGLISH, featured French baroque music as well as modern blues, rock, and jazz.
