Since its inception nine years ago, the Life Sciences Panorama has grown strong and is now recognized by the life science community as an annual catalyst for knowledge exchange.

The conference part of the event was in a digital format on October 6, from 12:00PM to 2:00PM ET, on the Hopin platform. 

​

The theme of the 2021 event was: FROM CRISIS TO OPPORTUNITY, THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA FOR INNOVATION IN BIOPHARMA.

Export Finance Roundtable
Organized by the US Commercial Service

Hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service, a live webinar was organized as an informal roundtable with a Q&A format, for questions relating to financing export ambitions; and federal resources available to companies looking to do business overseas. 

Organizations included, US Commercial Service (USCS), Export-Import Bank of the United States (EX-IM), United States Small Business Administration (SBA), and Fulton Bank. 

The event also included a brief overview of the U.S. Commercial Service, summarizing what it is and what services are offered to companies looking to export to oversees markets.

The Plague: adapted by Neil Bartlett from La Peste by Albert Camus

Organized by The Lantern Theater Company 
 

Infection, quarantine, panic, and closed borders are invoked in this sharp adaptation of Camus' masterful novel La Peste, originally written following World War II to serve as a political warning to future generations about fascism. Bartlett's compelling drama is all the more startling for how contemporary and timeless the action plays out on the stage: "How would I react if the plague came for me?"

This American premiere production was filmed at St. Stephen's Theater in Center City Philadelphia in July 2021.
