Steve Wanner is a partner in the EY office – Philadelphia with over 28 years providing assurance and advisory services in the energy, industrial gas, and financial services industries, focused on accounting, internal control, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business performance improvement. Steve serves as a partner in various capacities on various energy clients throughout the United States, including regulated and unregulated power companies, regulated natural gas distribution companies, natural gas midstream entities, and propane distribution companies. Steve also leads various initiatives within the firm regarding both audit quality and the expansion of the firm’s energy practice.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Steve serves or has served as a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Economy League, the chairman of the Drexel University Accounting Advisory Board, and an advisory board member of the Lebow College Center for Corporate Governance. Steve also chairs the board of trustees for a school designed specifically to meet the needs of inner city high school-aged foster children.
