Christophe Sibieude is the CEO and one of four Co-founders of Short Édition, a French publishing house of literature: poetry, short stories, and flash fiction that you can read in 20 minutes or less. In an effort to promote and elevate the role of literature in everyday life, the company's Short Story Dispenser provides a serendipitous literary experience to the public, free of charge. Short Édition partners with universities, government entities, libraries, retail centers, cafes, concept stores, literary festivals, airports, spas, office buildings, and public transportation systems to raise literary awareness, encourage new and emerging writers, showcase student talent, and highlight the importance of the timelessness of literature.
Loïc Giraut is the U.S. Business Development Manager for Short Édition and has been with the company for five years. He started at the company's headquarters in Grenoble, France, where his role was to open the U.S. market for the company's Short Story Dispensers.
After successful partnerships were made with universities, public libraries, hospitals, airports (+100 machines installed in total), Short Édition decided to open an office in Philadelphia. Christophe and Loïc came to Philadelphia in February 2020 to launch a pilot program with their storied city concept, a citywide project to promote literacy, reading and writing, that they plan to replicate in American cities nationwide.
